A group of individuals who called themselves the Marine Safety Group are affiliated with Cyber Diver News Network. Are they the driving force behind CDNN? If you Google "Marine Safety Group" you'll find over 120 pages about how wonderful they are on the CDNN website.
Read this post by CDNN (disguised under a bogus name of David Martinez) on the Scuba Forum website: http://www.scuba-forum.com/forums/shark/shark_feeding63/shark_feeding63.html - this one is good. Read between the lines...it explains the connection between the Marine Safety Group and CDNN and why CDNN hates Eric Ritter so much.
This Florida- based group calls themselves The Marine Safety Group claimed to be an environmental group that opposes shark feeding. It is made up of commercial spearfisherman by the names of:
David Earp (photo) who may be affiliated with Mobile Scuba Instruction
The website MarineSafetyGroup.org points to http://spearheadmultimedia.com, Stephan Picardi's Front Page website. Spearhead Multimedia appears to be a failed website developer. Most the links in the portfolio section are broken.
You can find Stephan Picardi him on ebay under the seller name "spearheadmm". Prior to July 2003 they used the ebay seller name "spearheadip".
You can find archived pages from the Marine Safety Group at ZOOMinfo.com and Archive.org.

The president is Bob Dimond someone who CDNN claims to have interviewed. Could Bob Dimond have actually spoken to Freeman Washington at CDNN? Bob, if you spoke to this guy face to face we want to hear about it. You're the first to have spoken to this ficticious person.
According to CDNN, they are a Florida non-profit, but we have yet to verify any legal paperwork to verify this.
Other names affiliated with the Marine Safety Group are: George Burgess and Evan T. Allard (probably a fake name), President of CDS (Cyber Diver Society) another fake organization.
